Major features include:
The 6980G-HD is housed in a 1U, 19 inch rack
mountable aluminum enclosure, 1.72" high and 9" deep
(including connectors) and is powered by 100 to 240VAC 50/60 Hz. |
Six
Channel HD-SDI Video Data Encoder, Model 6055C-6GHD is a six
channel video inserter designed to insert GPS or IRIG B time, sampled
precisely at vertical sync time, into serial digital interface (SDI)
video. Each video channel
operates independently. The
input video signals on each channel do not have to be synchronized and
can also be of different video formats.
Time stamping is accurate to within 10 microseconds of the
occurrence of a frame or field sync of each applied video signal.
The unit auto-detects and decodes the imaging format permitting
most SDI 480i/p, 720p or 1080i/p NTSC or PAL sources to be connected
without the need to change system settings.
The time message may be inserted into the active video image,
with the color and location selected by the user.
When selected, the time is also inserted into the SDI meta-data
(vertical ancillary packets). The
time reference is derived from either the internal GPS receiver,
external IRIG B time code source or as read from previously encoded
meta-data VANC packets. If the GPS or IRIG lock is lost the unit will
automatically continue to run on an internal clock.
The 6055C-6GHD includes a GPS Synchronized IRIG B122 and IRIG
B002 Time Code Generator.
Remote
control of the 6055C-6GHD may be performed via either the Ethernet or
RS-232 ports. Commands applied to these ports allow the operator to
configure the output video display, enter alphanumeric data, position
the movable crosshair and read the unit status and time data.
A detachable keyboard provides for local control of the unit.
The
6055C-6GHD
is housed in a rack mountable aluminum enclosure, 19" wide x
3.5" high x 15" deep
and is powered by 100 to 240VAC 50/60 Hz. |
Ruggedized
HD-SDI Video Data Encoder,
Model 6041G-HD is a ruggedized SDI video inserter designed to be
placed at a camera site. The unit provides accurate time tagging
of the video frame/field prior to compression and transmission, thereby
assuring that the timing is retained.
The unit will sense an applied SD, HD, or 3G SDI signal and
automatically adjust to the format. The time is sampled precisely at
vertical sync and the time message then inserted into the active video
image. When selected, the
time is also inserted into the SDI meta-data (vertical ancillary
packets). The time
reference is derived from either the internal GPS receiver or an
applied IRIG B time code signal. When using GPS, the unit automatically
acquires all in-view satellites and locks an internal disciplined clock
to the time reference. If an IRIG signal is used as a reference it is
decoded and used to synchronize the clock.
If the GPS or IRIG lock is lost the 6041G-HD will automatically
continue to run on the internal clock.
The 6041G-HD is housed in a ruggedized aluminum
enclosure, 2.5" high, 10”
wide (including mounting flanges) and 7" deep. It
is powered by 9-36 VDC. |
